Derwent Inktense Blocks

Derwent Inktense Blocks have exactly the same characteristics as the Inktense pencils and increase the range of possibilities that artists can use Inktense for. Inktense blocks are available in vibrant, translucent, ink-like colours. They are quick drying with very little bleed and the colour is permanent when dry, allowing it to be worked over with other media.
Only a little water is needed to make the colour go a long way and the chunky 8mm square block makes it perfect to hold. The large 75mm long blocks allow large areas of colour to be laid down very quickly, encouraging a loose style while producing free and expressive marks.
Inktense blocks can be used wet or dry and are available individually or in tins of 12, 24, 36 and 72 blocks.
